Voting Certificates
Voting Certificates And How They Are Used
A voting certificate can be purchased for $100.00 for any One individual. This gives that individual a right to vote and make nominations/suggestions at the Annual Meeting. This voting certificate is not transferable. It does not go from one spouse to another. If the certificate holder passes away, the certificate becomes inactive and is no longer usable for voting.
The money from certificates, according to the by-laws, must be put in the perpetual fund and only the interest may be used for maintenance. This is why we need people to buy certificates and also give for maintenance if possible. Our perpetual fund is not high enough to be self sufficient. Just note on the contribution that the $100.00 is for a certificate and a certificate will be mailed to you. Please make sure to provide your Name and Address for the Certificate.
